Sound and Music
are cloaks of force and energy—not unlike color.
Music allows for a broad and deep waveband of feelings, sentiments, stories, questions, vitamins and codings to be explored and shared.
In the following musical pieces, be they starters or more complete, the people capturing and sharing the music seek to be conduits that allow whatever nudged, inspired or moved them (be it in a moment of research, meditation, conversation or other experience in their life) to come through with integrity.
In the same vein, listening with a sense of curiosity as to “what wrote the music” rather than “who wrote it” leads us to be more open to the various frequencies and impulses moving in and through the music, letting it speak to us in the now. Click on one of the musical pieces below to begin.
Growing up on the prairie, out in the west Life is a struggle, a trial, a test. Summers are hot and the winters are cold. Hard work is your diet until you get old. But there are moments that can come your way That are filled with such beauty, takes your breath away. When the sky is so big that it offers a view And will take you on flights into sunlight and blue. Yippee Yi the coyote he hears in the night Under brilliant stars with their luminous light. It’s the pain and the glory that keeps his life true And I’m singing this simple man’s prayer now to you. Yes, I’m singing this simple man’s prayer now to you. And so, through the years he’s now getting on. He can no longer work like when he was young. But his Life’s become rich in a simple man’s way. He doesn’t speak much but he has much to say. Yippee Yi the coyote he hears in the night Under brilliant stars with their luminous light. It’s the pain and the glory that keeps his life true And I’m singing this simple man’s prayer now to you. Yes, I’m singing this simple man’s prayer now to you.
First things first, go to where the power lives. Close to where the truth resides - God’s intention, your desire. First things first, close to what you really are. You’re not made of bone, you’re made of living fire. You know it’s only natural, it’s the way that gods and humans grow. You don’t have permission to be perfect, you’re good enough the way you are. You’re not a painting to make pretty or a golden personality. First things first, go to where the purpose is. Let the presence flow both ways, like a stargate. You know… Every time we come here, we come here to refine the whole thing. Past, present and future, it’s all happening...

Oh Oh Oh Come, come with me, I will take you to places where you’ve never been; There are worlds beyond these it’s hard to believe, that will never end… Would you like to follow, follow me? Will you hold my hand? Will you help me lead? Oh Oh Oh We can see the pearls of light, shining bright, Our wishes are these; Outside of time the world looks like the sky at night with fires that pour Peace. Follow, follow me? Will you hold my hand? Will you help me lead? Oh Oh Oh Great Kings and Queens are waiting for thee They whisper, “remember who you are” Great Kings and Queens are waiting for thee They whisper, “remember what you’ve come here for” To say “yes”, to say “no”, to write stories as we grow, To collect all the best and balance… Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Come, come with me I will take you to places where you’ve never been; There are worlds beyond these it’s hard to believe …

If you’re a home for forgiveness If you make a home for it in you A journey begins, that never ends that leads you to be more true to a human promise of being humane, spirited and high And there’s probably room for a lot of mistakes In the knowing that most of us try And there’s room in this house for a deep respect born out of a bigger view A deep understanding of what happens inside living to the many and to the few It takes learning to listen, even when it's hard And to listen for what stays unsaid There’s patience and humility born from the labor of not stopping at being afraid There’s a warmth that can look out of someone’s eyes and it melts away the fear of meeting a wall, of not being received and it goes straight to the heart We are each the gardener put in charge of what we grow We decide the fruits by what seeds we sow Some will say some things are beyond forgiving There are horrors too great to be part of living But its not the act, it’s the life that needs forgiving To set it free, so that Life itself may keep living..
